Mary Klinestiver- I’m a Finance major that has found herself in a media-focused course writing about politics. If this seems like a contradiction to you, imagine how I must feel. Despite my lack of experience with the subject matter, I am going to strive to become much more familiar with a world of information new to me while, hopefully, helping everyone else learn something new at the same time. Paige Lavender- I’m a junior studying News-Editorial Journalism and English at WVU. I have always embraced new forms of media, and as a journalist I try my best to become familiar with all types of media outlets. Having covered several political events in the past, I’m looking forward to seeing just how politics and new media affect each other.
Nicholas Ward- Hello world! I’m a junior Political Science/English major here at WVU. Like most young adults my age I use these new forms of media on a daily basis. Social media offers a brand new way of doing just about anything online and I’m very interested in exploring how it affects the political arena.
